After Princess Diana’s passing, many of her personal belongings were sold at private auctions and scattered around the world. Our mission is to preserve and reunite as many of these historically significant items as possible in one place — The Princess Diana Museum — so her story can continue to educate, inspire, and connect people across generations.
Through immersive technology and thoughtful curation, we offer a personal, accessible journey through Diana’s life, honoring her compassion, courage, and lasting global impact.

The Princess Diana Museum: A Visitor’s Reflection
"The Princess Diana Museum is truly a must-see!

The online museum piqued my curiosity with it's multiple rooms divided by significant events in Princess Diana’s life, including her engagement and wedding, children, charity work, and untimely passing. Each exhibit room contains a plethora of items; the sheer number is mind-boggling, showing the great care that went into each area. Multimedia descriptions are woven throughout each exhibit. There are also video screens on several walls showing various segments of Princess Diana’s life.
The site is easy to navigate with a map and once you enter the lobby area, you can take a self-guided tour and linger as long as you wish. My favorite rooms were those devoted to the "Wedding of the Century" and the Christie’s auction, where many of Princess Diana’s dresses were auctioned for charity after her divorce.
The Princess Diana Museum reflects the creator’s love and admiration for Princess Diana and her desire to honor the memory of a truly unique person who captivated the world. Renae, your work has earned lots of media attention and rightly so. I highly recommend this site to everyone who wants to learn more about Princess Diana."

Why the Platypus?
Before there was a museum, there was a moment. On April 12, 1983, in Queensland, Australia, Princess Diana dropped a small clay platypus during a public visit. A young girl — our founder, Renae Plant — picked it up. That tiny figure became something she never let go of, and the spark behind The Princess & The Platypus Foundation.
The rest of the story? It's as unforgettable as the moment that started it.
