“I am always going to be true to myself” – Princess Diana

Her True Story

Diana sat down with her very dear friend, Dr. James Colthurst, to conduct a series of interviews in secret, which would lead to the publishing of “Diana: Her True Story” by Andrew Morton in 1992. The Princess Diana Museum is honored to display items used in those recordings: the Sony tape recorder, scramblers used so Kensington Palace could not hear conversations between Diana and James, and the bike that James rode in and out of Kensington Palace with the tapes and scripts in the basket.

Visit The Princess Diana Museum to see the largest collection of items from Diana's lifetime, all in one place!
